A wide range of disciplines are included: all historical subjects, every branch of Music, archaeology, language, art history and architecture, sculpture and numismatics, with focuses on regional variations and cultural identities, the interaction between internal and external factors, and the diversity of the local responses to external stimuli. The series may include translations from Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, or Russian works. As such, the series will advance the revision of old works either on the entire area or on certain sub-regions.
