  1. Hello. Could you please stop displaying nazi symbols when evoking Furtwängler's Berlin Philharmonic during WW2 ? It's annoying to me (and I suppose to many of your visitors) and it doesn't respect the memory of the jewish musician of the Berliner Philharmoniker who were prosectuted. Furtwängler himslef wrote to Goebbels to protest against it. Thank you.

    1. Hello! History has several meanings, that is, various interpretations. The German director, despite being against some of the regime's practices, led the Reich rock for many years, and was the highest-paid artist. I recommend you read Misha Aster's book, and that you inform yourself in an adult and responsible way, as you make comments. A greeting

    2. I do like Furtwägler's work and know perfectly what is to know about his role in this historical period, this is not the problem. Problem is : the covers you choose to illustrate these particular posts are offensive, because you put it on display without any distance ; Misha Aster's book, as you know it, don't have such a cover. For example : why did you choose the picture with the tomb of Horst Wessel, as Furtwägler always refused to conduct himself the "Horst Wessel Lied" or any nazi anthems ? Moreover, when he came to play in Paris in the year 1937 for the "Exposition Universelle", he had all the swastikas removed from the concert hall. Indeed, the way you play with nazi propaganda (you may know that in Germany, their use is now prohibited by the law) is childish and irresponsible, so don't look forward to teach me any lesson of adultness. Kind regards for the fine job you do, nevertheless.
